Iuliu Hatiegianu University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cluj-Napoca is the continuation of the Medicine and Pharmacy Faculty, founded in 1919 at Cluj, as part of Cluj University. With over 850 teachers and researchers, the University is currently organized in 5 faculties:
Faculty of General Medicine (6 years curriculum - study lines in Romanian, English and French)
Faculty of Dental Medicine ( 6 years curriculum - study lines in Romanian, English and French)
Faculty of Pharmacy (5 years curriculum - study lines in Romanian and French)
Faculty of Midwives and Medical Assistants (4 years curriculum - study line in Romanian)
Faculty of Healthcare-related Sciences (4 years curriculum - study line in Romanian)
The Faculty of Medicine is the backbone of the University, the core around which we have structured in turn all the other faculties which compose, at present, the “Iuliu Hatieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy. As the university is part of the faculties of medicine with a rich tradition and distinction in Romania, today, it is among the first three faculties in the country in terms of dimension and results, being the largest and the most representative Faculty of Medicine from Transylvania.
The Faculty of Medicine, the “backbone” of the “Iuliu Ha?ieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca, is a modern faculty rejoicing at wide national and international acknowledgment, determined by the results acquired in education and science.
